Cyclops Stranded Part 3

Time for some classic X-Men beefcake featuring their fearless leader. In Uncanny X-Men#148, Cyclops and his then girlfriend Lee Forester (this was post-Jean death, but pre-Madelyne Prior) are stranded on a uninhabited island after being knocked overboard their fishing trawler ofter a freak storm (long story). Anyhow, they've been stuck on the island for several issues hence the castaway attire. Love the matching cutoff jeans.

Yum! Why can't Scott have a smooth chest all the time.

I just read the All-New All Different X-Men's adventure in the Savage Land (the one we talked about the other day) this morning, and he not only has chest hair, he is virtually covered in that stuff...

He looks awesome here, though.
I prefer Scott smooth too. Just let Wolverine have all the body hair. Though I find it interesting that Daken didn't inherit Wolvie's hairy gene. XD

Note to self: Look for scans from those Savage Land issues!

Unless someone beats me to it, I could look for the issue when I get home. It is in my Essential X-Men book.

And I liked that about Daken. I may even like him, since he is not like his father in many ways.

And I have been wanting to tell you. I am watching the Fantastic Four series from the nineties. There is a towel scene with Johnny in the first episode. It's the super bulky Johnny design they used, but anyway...

And the Doctor Strange animated movie has him shirtless, as well. He looks so hot in the flashbacks. I guess you'll love him. He is still a bitch, though...

Yeah, Scott's one of the few characters I prefer smooth too. I remember this issue\story, Magneto popped up shortly after this and was almost knifed by Storm in Uncanny #150 while sleeping shirtless (think that panel is already on this blog too.)
@Cesar, I remember that Johnny-in-a-towel scene! I believe someone already sent me screencaps from that episode a while ago, but it was during the time I sort of abandoned the blog (I know, I'm sorry! lol) I'll have to look for the caps and post them on the next update. I'm also gonna look for screencaps from the Dr. Strange movie, even if he is still a bitch. lol

@DAN, yes, Magneto shows up in at the end of this issue. I 'll post more scans from the previous issues as well. Scott & Lee were stuck in the island for while weren't they? lol

It was The Uncanny X-Men #114.

Scott's beard, moustache and chest hair are used to emphasize the fact he is no longer a boy. And his resemblance to Corsair, too.
Thanks for the info, Cesar. I'll give you credit when I post those scans (which would be ironic since you don't like hairy guys, heh!). And thanks for reminding me of Corsair, I'm now gonna look for scans featuring Papa Summers.
