Gambit Bondage

Here's a little bit of bondage featuring the ragin' cajun himself from Gambit #2. After a heist, a mysterious artifact has been bonded onto Gumbos chest, and and its up tp his fence, amply named Fence, to remove it (unsuccessfully).

Smooth Gambit = YUCK!!! Some one please salvage the art on this series or at least bring a new inker who'll take the liberty of returning Remy's fuzz! OOOHHH the humanity!!! ;)
Ah, Gambit. He of the inconsistent body hair. I hate to break it to you DAN ol' buddy, but it seems that based on the past posts on this blog, Gambit seems to be depicted as smooth more often than not.

OMG you're right, I must be thinking of his X-Treme X-Men days when he seemed to be more consistently fuzzy, or maybe I'm getting Alzheimer's or something (but I'm only 29 honestly!!!!) Geez reality can be so harsh sometimes, LOL! :)

I remember mostly seeing him with some fuzz. Even Madureira's version had it.
Perhaps it is more recently that he has been smooth (I think perhaps Land's porno swipes could be like this).
Is the new book any good? I loved his 1998 series. It felt like a big adventure movie (like Indiana Jones), had an awesome cast and had a flirting Rémy who still tried to be faithful to Rogue, even though he resented being left to die in Antarctica.
The other series had gorgeous art, but his adventures were more like 30 minute episodes from a series not strong on continuity (each expanded to the obligatory 6 issues). It could easily be skipped and nothing important would be missed.
I have not read the new Gambit book so I cannot comment on its quality. All i can report is that he is shirtless in most of the issues, which is enough to satisfy me. :)

Oh, don't get me started on Greg Land's porn tracings. Smooth Gambit I can forgive, but this guy actually had the audacity to depict a smooth Wolverine! The nerve!
