Naked Justice: Iron Man & The Hulk Naked in Public!

Tony Stark & the Hulk naked in public! 'nuff said right? Well for those of you who are curious, log story short, they lost a bet and have to walk from Stark Tower to the Baxter Building stark naked! I love how their teammates were enjoying it. Wolverine brought popcorn!

Who drew this, they need to be a regular Iron Man penciller as soon as possible! Also Robert Downey Jr. should say thanks for making Tony's body look better than his actually is. ;)

Did someone at Marvel just use a watered down version of an idea from one of my old commissions?

If I find out that there has been a scene of someone being stripped by a malfunctioning device (like the Danger Room) than I'll know for sure that I've got someone from the Marvel offices watching my stuff.

@DAN, the artist is Stefano Caselli. And your not the only one how thinks he draws a dreamy Iron Man. Even the IGN review for this issue says that he "...draws the sexiest Tony Stark you'll ever see..." Who knew such a mainstream site can make such observations. ;)

@Sid, OMG, they are totally reading your blog, dude! Now I'll have to watch out for the inevitable Danger Room sequence in which the heroes get stripped. XD

I don't know if they're reading Sid's blog, but it does seem that comics today are going out of their way to show male skin more than before. Ten years ago, this storyline would have featured a bet in which they losers walk down Broadway in plain white briefs (of the sort that comics characters continued to wear long after most of their readership had moved on to print boxers). But within the past few months, we have this scene, the infamous "naked Hawkeye with censor mark" scene from Hawkeye #3, and the lead character in Talon #0 getting stripped naked and locked into a car trunk. All scenes framed with a "female gaze" so that it was clear that the character was nude. Very interesting how this has changed, IMO.

@Alan, interesting observations! Isn't it nice to see the male heroes being treated as eye candy? Oh and thanks for letting me know about Hawkeye #3 & Talon #0! Gonna have to post those soon.

my only regrets is the end of the hulk urban legend : hulk is big EVERYWHERE and ms marvel and female avenges are not impressed by naked hulk

Anonymous: its not an urban legend and it isn't over--the size of Hulk's endowments has been referenced on-panel before at least once. The Leader told Hulk to put some pants on (after his clothes were burnt off) because he was giving people inferiority complexes.
