Young Aquaman's Shirtless Adventures

In Aquaman #7 & 8 we got a taste of Arthur's Post-Flashpoint origin. Apparently prior to joining the Justice League, he was a part of a team call The Others. And prior to wearing that scaly orange armor shirt we all know and love(?) he used to go shirtless all the time. I wish he'd go back to this look.

WOW! I'm gonna be so sad when Reis leaves Aquaman in a couple issues, his Arthur is so gorgeous and he draws a great Mera too!
Me too! I wish they'd just keep him on this book. But lets hope that whatever title they put Reis on it will involve plenty of beefcake!

What intrigues me is that I have seen him as smooth after this reboot. Will this be official now or will it be reverted when a new artist arrives?

Or will they handle it as if he removes his body hair?
I hope he remains smooth. Let Batman & have all the chest hair. :)

I don't know, I kind of have a thing for guys (especially blonde ones) who are scruffy with chest fuzz, I typically like like the fuzzy guys more, NOT gorilla-like and covered with fur mind you but a little fuzz and scruff is always appreciated. :)

Then you can have Arthur back. He is not in my top list, anyway.

I just do not want any more furry Steve Rogers pics, like the ones from Versus, when he fights Gambit.

Then again, can I keep the horny teen Aquaman from the Sins of Youth event?

He and Wally looked too nice.

Whoa, furry Steve Rogers! I'll have look for pics of that! Plus Arthur and Steve have typically been smooth more often than not, so you probably have alot more to look forward to. ;)

Okay, I saw the pics of hairy Steve and they are fantastic, although extremely rare to see him drawn like that, too bad Gambit didn't get shirtless during the fight too, and whose dumb idea was it for Cap to fight Gambit, the outcome was very predictable!

I knew Cap would win and I am okay with it. He is not the kind to give up, even when already "defeated" he keeps fighting until he wins.

I love Gambit, too, and I knew he would lose, but I was surprised when he was able to charge Cap's shield. I could have sworn the shield would not be able to hold the charge at all.

And I do not know if things were reverted or ignored, but Gambit was able to charge organic things, too, even living beings. When his powers were downgraded again by Sinister, I think they would be brought back to manageable levels, but I cannot recall if the ability to charge organic matter was removed.

I loved the art (except for Steve's torso hair), but I am not totally convinced McNiven knows as much about these characters as he should.
He's so hot, especially when drawn by Ivan Ries!
