The first guy has a lightning bolt on his chest as a scar from when an sentient spaceship made him her ally, or something. It's shirtlessness that's actually relevant to the plot, which I enjoy. The last guy is a semi-immortal soldier - I think he's shirtless as a contrast to his legs, which are horribly twisted and wasted away. I cropped them of course.
