Daken: Bisexual Dark Wolverine

Daken is Wolverine's tattoed & mohawked bisexual son, and in  Daken: Dark Wolverine #10 he hooks up with some dude!  I have to be honest, i don't know a lot about this issue since I haven't read it yet, I'll add more info once I've get my hands on a copy. Aside from a dislike of tattoo's Daken is always somewhat soured for me by the fact that he has a natural pheromone power which makes people respond to him, whether they otherwise would or not. As he knows he has that power, it adds a definite skeevy element to his encounters that makes me more than a little uncomfortable.

We don't know whether he was using pheromones on this guy or not. That's the thing--since there is no visual effect for Daken's pheromone powers, you don't really know if he's using them or not unless a) he says so in dialogue or narration or b) his victim's behaviour is clearly under the influence.
Since Daken's bedmate here is a brand new character, we don't know him well enough to say for sure.

I'm torn when it comes to the whole pheromone thing. I think that, tattoo not withstanding, Daken is already pretty hot on his own and he shouldn't have to rely on his pheromone powers to seduce a man or woman ala Poison Ivy. But on the other hand, the idea that he can seduce anyone, even straight men, is pretty awesome. The fanfic writers will have a field day! It'll be like Gambit all over again!
