Naked Warlord of Mars

I love Barsoomian society and their casual attitude towards nudity! The following scans are from Warlord of Mars #2 & 3 in which, John Carter our hero, ascends to Mars, is captured by 4-armed martians and forced to fight in a gladiator match... all in the nude! Special thanks to Terry for these scans, and I added a few of my own.



















He unfortunately, he finally puts on his signature codpiece at the end of the issue.

Whoa! Super hot! I've always loved the John Carter books and just read the Dark Horse Warlord Of Mars collection of the old 70's marvel series, which is good too by the way! I was thinking about getting this new Dynamite series, but it's a must buy for sure now! The TPB can't come soon enough! Yum! Thanks & keep the scans coming from future issues!

Kind of lame that they completely dodge the actual nudity and just tease at it. I did love the John Carter books when I was younger, and part of the appeal was the fact that he was so often nude!

@Mr/Ms. Anonymous, glad you liked it. I plan on posting more Warlord of Mars stuff as the issues come out. Stay tuned!

@Hushicho, yeah, why couldn't they have shown one frontal shot ala Watchmen or Supreme Power? But I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that they didn't show frontal, it's not a "mature content" book. "Often nude" you say? I'm gonna check out the novels now!

The original novels are text only and tastefully mention the nudity, and all previous John Carter comic series had frequent shirtlessness though no nudity either. This Dynamite series is closest the story's come to actual nudity, which judging by the scans is better than what's come before!

@anonymous, oh I know its just text, but I'm still looking forward to imagining a hot naked dude fighting 4-armed green guys and making out with a naked hot babe. :)
