Age of X Hotness

I love Age of X, not only because I'm a sucker for alternate reality stories, but also because there's so much bare-chested, manly X-Men in it that one would think that this crossover was created just so fangirls (and some fanboys) can have something to drool over. And it's about time! If female heroes can have costumes that bare their midriffs and expose their thighs for no good reason, why can't we have hot guys who's uniform require them to go shirtless! I wish more characters in the regular continuity have bare-chested costumes.

It seems poor Hellion lost even more of his arms in this reality!

Beserker (this reality's Warpath).

There's shirtless Namor, Angel & Colossus in the background.

In Earth-TRN016, male telekinetics don't wear shirts! (Squee!)

Legion is way hotter in this reality.

Cameos from Namor & Colossus.

100% agree! Marvel (and DC) need to have more male heroes in revealing costumes if for no other reason than visual stimulation. Looking at bunch of guys completely covered up in blue, red, black, gray etc. gets old fast...I don't understand Marvel or DC for that matter totally ignoring the time-tested marketing ploy of sex appeal costumes when it comes to male characters. Only female characters seem to get hot costumes. :(
Perhaps they're afraid that having their male heroes in revealing costumes would be "too gay" for the straight fanboys. At least they give us plenty of shirtless scenes, which I think is more acceptable to straight men, since being bare chested is seen as manly while wearing skimpy outfits is seen as girly. As this blog proves, comics isn't all about cheesecake, there's plenty of eye candy for fangirls & gay fanboys too. But would it kill them to put Cyclops in something sexier than gray spandex from head to toe?! lol

Damn those straight fanboys! Their homophobia is ridiculous; they're reading about idealized muscle men for God's sake! People need to quit being so stuffy and closed minded. You'd think we were still in the 50's or something...Guess the "sexual revolution" is over and forgotten, huh?

Not that all superguys should have revealing costumes, but could we at least get 2-3 lead characters with sexy duds, or at the very least more instances of torn up\off suits! This used to be mandatory for Marvel and DC, but now every hero man is covered head to toe 98% of the time. Sorry, just had to vent a little comic book frustration there! LOL indeed...:)
That's okay, I understand. BTW, that was just my theory why they're aren't as many scantily clad male heroes nowadays. I could be wrong.

Also, if you don't mind, can you please use a handle or pseudonym when posting comments? 'Cause I don't know if I'm speaking to a 1 person or 3 different people since it just says "anonymous". lol. But if you want to keep posting anonymously that's cool too.

All the comments you responded to were mine, I guess I just being lazy about not including a name as I'm tired of signing up for internet accounts for every little this and that I want to post about! - DAN
I can certainly understand that! =)
