Shirtless Spidey

I hate it when artists don't draw nipples! It used to happen a lot back in the day. Now though, when a character is shirtless they almost always have nipples. So why does Mike Deodato, Jr still draw guys with no areolas? He's not a bad artist, but its panels like these that make me wish that John Romita, Jr. was still drawing Spidey.
