Several things to think of:
"Doctor, lawyer, Indian chief?" No, don't get a sudden minority ethnicity, or we might have Bruce and Babs being uncharacteristically racist for several issues.
When you remember Marv Wolfman and George Perez wanted to make Jericho bisexual, scenes where Dick admires our favorite artist son of our favorite mercenary ("Deadpool ripped me off!") like that suggest Wolfman wanted another Titan to be bi too. He still only moved slightly toward thottery under Devin Grayson, and went full thot in the nu.

Seeing as robins are
1) A child soldier in Bruce's personal war on crime who as an adult is raped by two different women and learns the hard way that everyone he helped in Bludhaven doesn't matter when his old pal Deathstroke the Terminator drops a living bomb on the city. 2) A child soldier in Bruce's personal war on crime who is murdered by the Joker and comes back insane. 3) Now we're going to flip the script. See, Dick and Jason lost their parents at a young age and then became Robin. Tim became Robin, then slowly lost nearly everyone he ever cared about, including the mother of his child. In the end, Dick, basically his last living relative at this point, took Robin away from him, citing psychological reasons. 4) A survivor of several forms of child abuse, from her father locking her in the closet to her pedo babysitter. Oh, also a teen mother, and Tim's the father. 5) And finally, a reformed assassin and ecoterrorist with an ego that can be seen from Apokolips.
this is actually pretty funny in hindsight.
