Basilisk (Cyclops) & Legion

Age of X hunks update! In New Mutants Vol. 3 #22, Basilisk (this reality's Cyclops) hangs around in his undies with this wife, Frenzy. I find it surprising that he didn't hook up with a telepath in this reality. Almost as surprising as that ugly visor. What the hell is on his face?!




And I'm happy to report that Legion continues to be depicted as a hunk in this reality, so unlike his normally creepy look in Earth-616.

To explain Basilisk... Scott's not with a telepath because (as a result of the events that led to the creation of the Age of X) there ARE no telepaths around. Those that are alive are imprisoned and segregated from other mutants who no longer know they ever existed.

As for his mask, he has to wear it because, earlier in his life, his eyelids were cut off by a suitably nasty person. He wears the mask so no one else is squicked out.

Thanks for the explanation, icon-uk! Seems like Scotty had a crappier childhood in this reality. Man, I really need to start reading Age of X.

Yeah the mask is ugly, but it seems that my love for Scott Summers (no matter which reality he's in) has overridden my hatred for the mask, I still find him hot in these scans. XD
