Superboy Shirtless in "Bereft"
In the latest episode of Young Justice, Superboy was in fanservice-mode, and I loved it! He spent the entire episode shirtless and I'm sure the fangirls (and some fanboys) appreciated it! It seems that one of Supey's functions on the show is to make fangirls "squee".
In Bereft the team has lost all their memories from the past 6 months, this particularly sucks for Superboy since he's only 24 weeks old, so he has no memories at all. He goes all feral, ripping his own shirt off (squee!) and starts kicking his teammates' (and the Bialian army's) asses.
The Bialians capture Superboy with the help of Pisom. He is bound (squee!) and electrocuted (squee!) by a machine that is used to power a mysterious sphere (the Supercycle?). Eventually Miss Martian rescues him and together they defeat Prisom in a psychic battle. Even in the astral plane Supey is bare-chested (squee!). I'd like to think it was because he was in Megan's mind and she just chose to envision him shirtless since she's so smitten my him. Special thanks to PretenderNX01 for sending in screencaps.

I wonder if the producers just figured the story in this episode was more basic so make him shirtless for a thrill.
I too appreciate anatomy- in fact in some shots I swear Superboy has a bit of a bulge while moving around.
@DAN, aw, I liked this episode's script. Specially the Wally/Artemis and Superboy/Miss Martian stuff. Damn! This show has made me a shipper!
@Arion, happy viewing!
Seriously though, Didio tried to kill him off during Infinite Crisis but thankfully some of the writers and Paul Levitz convinced him not to. I hope he doesn't try to off him again.
My main issue with Didio is that he seems to enjoy pissing fans off. He also seems to want to bring the silver age back. Why else would he revive Barry Allen? The whole fandom has accepted his death and moved on. His death was a milestone, now it's meaningless. And I hate that his return displaced Wally, my generation's Flash.
