Prehistoric Robin

So it seems that Dick Grayson is not the first Robin, chronologically speaking. A redheaded cave boy became an amnesiac Batman's sidekick (of sorts) in Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #1. Many thanks to Brooklyn for sharing these scans with us.

An apocryphal story has a young Bruce Wayne as Robin.

I should hope everyone knows Barbara Gordon wasn't the first Batgirl, but the first girl to be Robin was Roberta, the Girl Wonder.
