Shirtless Reptil

Here's some beefcake from the next generation of Avengers. In Avengers Academy #6, Young Reptil aka Humberto Lopez experiments with Henry Pym. Not that kind of experiment, silly! They're just trying to figure out how to dislodge that crystallized bone in his chest (which is actually the source of his powers). Needless to say, things don't go very well.

The Captain America Bloodstone Hunt story is one of my faves, I wonder if this could be the same Bloodstone, it looks like it and Marvel probably wants to maintain their copyright. Please compare:

He wasn't part of the Cap story I mentioned, only his...uhh....stone!

Bloodstone the sexy adventurer Indiana Jones type guy had separate solo stories before, they're listed by clicking on the appearances listing on the bottom of the page I mentioned above. His adventure haven't been collected yet unfortunately.

@Arion, just a bit of background on Reptil, he first appeared as part of the Initiative & is now the leader of the current class in Avengers Academy.

@DAN, interesting theory but its probably a different stone on Reptil since it gives him a different power set compared to Bloodstone. He has the ability to mimic dinosaurs.
