Human Torch in the South Pole

That Johnny Storm is sexy, and he knows it! Look at what he wore when the Fantastic Four went to when to the South Pole. Everyone else is wearing layers of clothing while he's in nothing but shorts and go-go boots with a fiery motif! I love that he owns his hotness. I'm still pissed that they probably temporarily killed him off recently. These scans from Fantastic Four #576 are courtesy of Brooklyn, combined with my own scans.

I love Johnny. Frankly, fuck Marvel. They're doing a new FF film soon, they'll undo it for the film like they always do for all of these occasions.

They just did it for the shock value and to sell a few comics to collectors who thought it would be worth something. It'll end up on ebay for $5.

I can't stand the big two's stupid stunts like that...

But I love the Johnny and appreciate it very much! Thanks for posting this!

@icon_uk, its because of scenes like these that I really didn't mind when they kind of changed Johnny's personality. They made me a little more cocky, ala Movie Johnny Storm.

@Hushicho, tell me about it! I've become so jaded when it comes to comic book deaths. We all know he's not gonna stay dead forever. You're right, this is just to boost sales and PR.

I just love the matching shorts and cowboy boots. It is easily the gayest thing I've ever seen in a comic book. Northstar in a speedo isn't as gay as Johnny in that panel. I've never gone looking for Human Torch slash fic, but I may have to start now.

Well, most real guys have chest hair...it stands to reason Johnny does.

Although considering, it wouldn't be surprising if he waxed. It is Johnny, after all! :)
