I dunno about the covers & posters but the earlier stuff I posted were by Brett Booth, who's sexual orientation I am not aware of. And I do not think it is a factor.

I don't think the an artist has to be gay to draw kinky stuff like this. It was commissioned by a publisher, he was instructed to draw it that way. A gay artist can draw sexy women and a straight artists can draw hot men.
